Artificial Intelligence Student Society
We are a nonprofit association founded by students of the Data Science and Scientific Computing master’s degree at the University of Trieste. Our aim is to create a thriving community of students engaged in the fields of AI and Data Science, fostering their professional growth through collaborative learning and connecting them to experts and institutions operating in these domains.
Our initiatives:
We organize thematic professional and social events in collaboration with local actors from industry and academia to share career and learning opportunities.
We promote relevant projects related to the interests of our members to coordinate the efforts of our community towards shared goals.
We offer a guidance service for current and prospective student members hailing from all over the world to help them make the most out of their learning journey in Trieste.
We organize recreational events to foster bonding and encourage socialization among our members, easing the integration of international and off-site students into the local community.

The location will be the beautiful Caffè degli Specchi in Piazza Unità d'Italia, Trieste.

«A window on your future»
During this day, we will be holding two events that will help students interested in studying, working, or doing research in the field of AI in orienting themselves for their future.
The first part of the AI2S Research Fair 2022 will start at 2:00 PM: participating students will be able to meet and ask questions regarding theses and projects to researchers in AI and Data Science
In the evening, we will be organizing the DSSC Alumni Stories (starting at 6:00 PM): we will host 6 Data Science and Scientific Computing alumni that will be presenting their stories, so students will be able to ask questions important for inspiring and shaping their careers.
