Useful info about the graduation of the DSSC master.

The graduation sessions of 2021-2022 are:

• 23 July 2021

• 17 September 2021

• 22 October 2021

• 17 December 2021

• 25 March 2022

• (possibly) 20 May 2022.

The general bureaucratic procedure to apply for the final examination (deadlines and tasks to accomplish) is available on the university website, at this page, in the section "Master’s/Specialization and pre-reform degrees: how to apply". Please read the instructions and follow them carefully.

Specific information about the deadlines and dates of the graduations sessions can be found following this link [IN ITALIAN]. At the bottom it is stated that if the thesis is written in English (and the one of the DSSC master must, as stated in the official page on the DSSC website:

The thesis should be written and discussed in English.

) it is required also an abstract in Italian. The thesis must be uploaded so that it can be saved in the University Digital Archives, even if you have not granted right to access the thesis. The information shown in the frontispiece of the thesis must be exactly the same as that in the "Dissertazione della Tesi" (Thesis Discussion) signed by your supervisor(s).

Important notice: There are three different graduation sessions and the window of the online graduation application is usually around two weeks and closes even four months before the graduation date.

• If you want to graduate in the summer session, which is between 1 June 2021 and 30 September 2021 (sessions of 23/07/2021 and 17/09/2021), you have to compile the online degree application from 26 April 2021 to 17 May 2021.

• If you want to graduate in the autumn session, which is between 1 October 2021 and 31 January 2022 (sessions of 22/10/2021 and 17/12/2021), you have to compile the online degree application from 23 August 2021 to 09 September 2021.

• If you want to graduate in the special session, which is between 1 February 2022 and 31 May 2022 (sessions of 25/03/2022 and 20/05/2022), you have to compile the online degree application from 10 January 2021 to 20 January 2021.

Applications are made for a single graduation session and are valid if all necessary documents are presented and payment made by the deadline. The student secretariat will automatically cancel applications if all documents are not provided or payment has not been made.
After the deadline but before the final date to pass the last examination, application can be made with payment of a late application charge. Contact your student secretariat for details.
The fee to be paid for the graduation application amounts to 32€, of which 16€ for the "graduation application" fee and 16€ for the "certificate" fee. If you apply for a graduation session but then you withdraw, cancel the application, and when applying for another online graduation application you will have to pay again only 16€.

La procedura generale per fare domanda di laurea (scadenze e cose da fare) è disponibile sul sito dell'università, a questa pagina, nella sezione "Lauree magistrali/specialistiche e ante riforma: come presentare la domanda". Leggete le istruzioni e seguitele con attenzione.

Specifiche informazioni sulle scadenze e le date delle sessioni di laurea si trovano al seguente link. In fondo a questa pagina c'è scritto che se la tesi viene redatta in lingua straniera (e quella del corso di laurea in DSSC deve esserlo, come scritto nel sito ufficiale del master in DSSC) deve contenere anche un riassunto in italiano (Abstract). Il caricamento della tesi è obbligatorio ai fini del deposito negli archivi digitali universitari e va fatto anche se hai negato il consenso alla consultazione. I dati riportati sul frontespizio della tesi devono coincidere esattamente con quelli della "Dissertazione della Tesi" firmata dal/i docente/i.

Avviso importante: Ci sono tre diverse sessioni di laurea, e la finestra temporale della domanda di laurea online è di circa due settimane e chiude anche quattro mesi prima della data dell'appello.

• Se ti vuoi laureare nella sessione estiva, cioè gli appelli dal 1 giugno 2021 al 30 settembre 2021 (quindi gli appelli del 23/07/2021 e del 17/09/2021), devi compilare la domanda di laurea online dal 26 aprile 2021 al 17 maggio 2021.

• Se ti vuoi laureare nella sessione autunnale, cioè gli appelli dal 1 ottobre 2021 al 31 gennaio 2022 (quindi gli appelli del 22/10/2021 e del 17/12/2021), devi compilare la domanda di laurea online dal 23 agosto 2021 al 09 settembre 2021.

• Se ti vuoi laureare nella sessione straordinaria, cioè gli appelli dal 1 febbraio 2022 al 31 maggio 2022 (quindi gli appelli del 25/03/2022 e del 20/05/2022), devi compilare la domanda di laurea online dal 10 gennaio 2022 al 20 gennaio 2021.

La domanda si presenta per la singola sessione di laurea: è valida se completata con gli allegati richiesti e i pagamenti effettuati entro i termini. La Segreteria Studenti annullerà d’ufficio le domande di laurea in difetto di documentazione o dei pagamenti.
Dopo la scadenza, ed entro il termine di superamento dell’ultimo esame, potrai presentare la domanda con l’addebito della mora: contatta la segreteria studenti del tuo corso di studi per le modalità.
La tassa per l'iscrizione all'appello di laurea ammonta a 32€, di cui 16 per la "tassa domanda conseguimento titolo" e 16€ per la "tassa diploma". Se ti iscrivi ad un appello di laurea ma poi ti ritiri, annulla la domanda, e al momento di una nuova compilazione di domanda di laurea dovrai ripagare solo 16€.
