As already announced, we are hosting with HubAI a free webinar discussion panel on sustainability and smart cities.


This international event will feature AI experts from both Italy and Sweden explaining the current opportunities and challenges in designing and implementing smart cities today and the role artificial intelligence plays in creating a more sustainable planet.

SPEAKERS:

The team of speakers will be composed by:

  • Stefano Cozzini, Director of the Institute of Research and Technologies at Area Science Park, where he coordinates activities of several scientific infrastructures and projects at national and international level;

  • Joaquin Melgarejo Ricca who works as The Core Delivery Team Manager for Telefonica, in projects related to Big Data and AI;

  • Stefan Larsson, Senior lecturer and Associate Professor in Technology and Social Change at Lund University, whose multidisciplinary research focuses on issues of trust and transparency on digital, data-driven markets, and the socio-legal impact of autonomous and AI-driven technologies.

The moderator of the event will be Eric Medvet, Associate Professor in Computer Engineering at the Department of Engineering and Architecture (DIA) of the University of Trieste, founder and leader of the Evolutionary Robotics and Artificial Life lab (ERALlab) and co-founder and co-head of the Machine Learning Lab inside the same University.
